cradle cap:update

I'm a FTM and my son is almost 2months old n has thick black/brown curly hair(he was born with it and it only got thicker so i didn't noticed) but can someone plz recommend something for his hair to gently remove it so his curly stay soft

so i tried breast milk-- for some reason it felt sticky to me

olive oil. made his hair flat and stiff n took a long time to massage into his scalp and left oil stains on his clothes,sheets n hats

coconut oil(same as the olive oil)

doctor gave me a hydo cream-- hated the smell and he cried n itched at it but it worked of the top layer of dry skin in a matter of 5mins, i just had to wash his hair because of the smell
