Did getting your membrane stripped put you in labor? If so how long after?

I had two with my previous pregnancy and nothing worked..
I had one earlier today, it hurt a lot more than with my previous baby. Also, I bled straight after this sweep and lost a fair bit of dark blood (tmi) which didn’t happen with my last pregnancy- I was 2cm when she checked to do the sweep so I’m hoping things may start but I won’t hold out too much hope 😩 induction is booked for Sunday 😬

I’ve had 3 and absolutely nothing Even being fully effaced and 3cm dilated, I’m 40 weeks today (23/2/18) Same with my 2nd child had 3 and nothing.

Had it done for my first. She was born 8 weeks past due date.
Had it done last Friday for my second baby due Feb 21. Currently 1 day last my due date and feeling impatient already. 😒

I got one done at 39 weeks, nothing - no pains/spotting at all and was just uncomfortable. 
I got one done today at 40 weeks, was definitely painful, definite spotting/bleeding. But no cramps. Its been 4 hrs so far.

yeah I was due on the 14th and only dialated to a one she stripped then when I was 40 weeks 1 day then the next day I lost my mucus plug then the day after that water broke :)

I had my second sweep today and so far nothing. Scheduled for a third on Friday and an induction on Monday!
