Thinking about dating again

So I'm thinking about dating again my boyfriend broke up with me for the second time a month ago. I've decided I'm not going to give him another chance, and I'm going to attempt to start dating again. But my question is how long should you wait to start dating again? I was with my ex for about 3years and I just feel like I wasted so much time on someone who didn't want what I wanted.
