Trying to conceive

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years and we have been dying to have a baby 👶🏻 we have tried before but never had luck and we gave up for awhile and we are thinking about trying again..My periods are very irregular and when I do have my period it’s heavy the first day then my period will be spots. All my friends are having babies and I’m so jealous because I wish it was me too! I’m happy for them! I know I should go to the doctor but I don’t know what’s holding me back from going.. is there any moms that had trouble getting pregnant and how long did it take to finally get pregnant?
