Taking my newborn to a wedding

Ladies, I need advice! My baby is due May 1st and I have FOUR important weddings coming up. ALL four are “destination” weddings ranging from 2 hours away by car to a three hours away by plane.

The first wedding is May 26th so my baby won’t even be a month old yet (assuming it’s born on it’s due date) but is only 2 hours from us.

The second is in June so baby will be two months old. This one is a five hour drive from us.

Third one in August so baby will be three months by then. This wedding is four hours by car.

The last is the hardest because it’s for my (ex) step mom who is getting remarried in Hawaii. She raised me and I consider her mom but this one is extra difficult as it will require me to take time off work (and I will have just returned from maternity leave) and will require us to fly with the baby. The expense alone is really making me nervous, not to mention traveling that far with a three month old.

Luckily for the first three weddings, we have places to stay for free so my only concern is traveling with the baby and having an infant at a wedding.
