Bacteria vaginosis and uti?

Do those two go together? I was treated for a uti and now I have a bacteria infection. Is that normal?

Ugh, I've had countless infections simultaneously. Yeast and BV, yeast and UTI, BV and UTI... It's definitely normal. Sucks too! Hopefully you feel better soon.

sometimes the meds for a uti will through your ph off. so yes. I got a uti  last week and I told my doc to get me something for yeast or bv because I will get either or with the meds they give with a uti.

My doctor told me that most women have bacterial vaginosis and don't even know it and doctors don't check for it unless you tell them that you have symptoms that are bothering you. So yeah it's pretty common for both to be around
