Laundry in master bathroom?

Question

What is your opinion on having the washer and dryer in their own spot in the master bathroom. It's a big master bath (10'x16') and they'd have their own folding/laundry spot. Perhaps covered behind a sliding barn door.

It looks nice but what if others in the house  needed it?

My parents have this, but they also have a second set of stack machines upstairs in a hall closet. It works well for them because the teens and whoever else is in the house have bedrooms upstairs so if they need to do a load, they use the one on that floor. However, my mom does the bulk of the laundry in her bathroom. They have a massive house though and always have exchange students, student teachers, and my teenage brother and his friends there.

On one hand it would be handy you could just put all the dirty clothes you take off to get in the shower right in the washer, on the other hand, what if your in there and someone needs something out of the dryer? Lol

I think that’d be awesome. I’d probably get a lot more laundry done. Ours is in the garage and if I’m particularly lazy I’ll leave it for years out there

Hate it - I always put my washing machine on at night delayed to be finished when I get get up so I can put it out in the morning before work / going out. So having it close to the bedroom would not be ideal.

I preferred ours in a hall closet, I wouldn’t everyone having to go into my bathroom
