hello ladies! I had nexplanon inserted March 2017 and had it removed February 2018 so almost a year now.

How do I begin to tell you guys what a nightmare experience I had with it. Bleeding for months at a time, depression, weight gain, acne, heavy cycles, low sex drive.. like extremely low. Me and my SO would only have sex like twice in 2 months!

The only obvious plus was not getting pregnant at the time and it’s in your arm for 3 years

I would not recommend this form of birth control

I am ttc now and was never told it could take months for my hormones would be back to normal. And I also didn’t know it was recommended to wait I think it was 3 months before ttc!

(It does work great for some women this is just my experience)
