membrane sweep?

I know this is has been asked before and I tried to find it before I decided to post. I know it can get annoying to answer the same question over and over again. FTM. I'm 38 weeks and doc said I'm 1cm dilated. I had my 1st membrane sweep today. how long did it take for you to go into labor after you got yours done. how many cm dilated were you when you had it done? And how far long were you? I've had BH contractions since December and I'm exhausted and I can't handle being pregnant anymore. please help me. give me advice to what I need to do to help this do what it needs to do!

I had my first and only sweep at 40 weeks around 2pm. I was 1-2 cm and 50% effaced. I had cramps and pressure after for the rest of the day but I didn’t think anything would happen. By midnight I was finally gonna go to sleep when I felt a pop, it felt like someone hit my stomach or baby kicked really hard but it didn’t feel like a normal kick. I got up to go to the bathroom and it wasn’t a lot of liquid but more than normal; I thought maybe it was a weird kick from baby. Tried to lay down again and felt more fluid, when I went to the bathroom that’s when it was a small gush. Real contractions started maybe 2 minutes after that. 3 hours later my son was born!

i had 2 membrane sweeps, walked 3 miles after both and i still never went into labor naturally. everyone is different. just walk walk walk and do some squats. fingers crossed it works for you.

I had my first sweep done at 39 weeks, was 2 cm dilated, didnt do anything to me. 
I had a second sweep done yesterday at 40 weeks, still 2 cm dilated, had some spotting, no cramping. Doubt its gonna work for me..

I had 3 of them starting at 37.5 weeks 😅 they did nothing for me. I walked, ate spicy food, had sex, prayed, told my son it was time for him to come out, meditated, cried... and my son was a day late hahahaha they come when they are ready. It's actually a really good entry into Parenthood because nothing is about you and your schedule after the baby comes.

Mine never worked at 38 weeks but worked at 39 and 40 weeks. I went into labor within 10 hours.

Had mine stripped at 39 + 2. I was 3 cm dilated! Walk. Walk. Walk. The day before that I had gone to l and d for contractions. I was 1 cm! So I was already ready to go into labor any day lol but just be as active as possible! I drank lotsssss of red raspberry tea leaf to help soften up my cervix. But I had been drinking it prior to that. Bounced on my ball if I couldn’t be up and on my feet. Or needed a walking break. I went into labor at 38 + 6 the day of my induction 😂
