Sorry for the novel. I am wondering if there any ladies out there that seem to struggle with their in-laws. my future in-laws seem to have the ability to her my absolute last nerves, primarily for these reasons

1. my SO mother will text him every morning before she sees him everyday(note: he is logging near his parents house). she will the continue to text him throughout the evening.

2. I have been with my SO for over 1 1/2 years now, his parents have absolutely no clue who i am as person or what i like, they do tho always seem to tell me things about my SO (even tho I have lived with him for about a year and have known him since I was 16)

3. his mom seems to get defensive when I am not taking care of her 22 year old son the way she did. I treat him like an adult.

4. last one, his parents also feel the need to go everywhere with him.

I love my SO but his parents are pushing my buttons, or am I being petty?
