does anyone else have a issues with doctors taking them seriously because they are a female

Yes. There are many studies that show women are taken less seriously by doctors and that their pain is ignored.
I was in severe pain for two years and could have died. I was told everything from “it’s in your head” to “its stress from wedding planning.” I saw countless doctors and went to the ER multiple times. 
It wasn’t until I passed out from the pain that my Husband had enough and threw a fit in the ER and said we weren’t leaving until they did a certain test that We had to diagnose. 🙄 turns out we were right, had diagnosed what I had been going through, and surgery took place 3 days later. 
I had another friend who diagnosed HERSELF with multiple sclerosis. Her doctor laughed her in face until the results came in confirming she had it. 
There are some really good articles on the internet about it.

I Have the problem of having to recurring pain and recurring bladder infection. and I go in for both and they just send me home. and I was wondering if it just me or if we don't get taken seriously.

every time I try to ask for fertility advice, my advice is to get on birth control... im engaged.
