Acceptable Prom Dress

So, I've been trying to find a Prom dress and it has been so hard to find one that is my size and that is not too expensive. My mom found this one, and I'm not sure if it looks good on me and if it even looks like a prom dress. I need your options. Also ignore the length of the dress and my bra straps. Thanks
