So my husband and I are TTC soon. We already know that we would most likely want to not have any visitors at the hospital just because of how some of our family members cause a lot of stress and tension. However, we weren’t sure about announcing the pregnancy when it happens. We would just like to keep it private until we pretty much have to say something. I just don’t want people sticking their noses in our business and giving unsolicited advice or trying to scare me about childbirth because that’s how both of our families are. What would you do in this situation (for both the hospital and announcing)?
