On January 19th I married my husband. It was just a small court house wedding. he wanted to do a small wedding and I wanted to do a big wedding so we agreed to do a small court house wedding and this summer do a reception. He knows I really wanted a big wedding and I think he feels bad now I didn’t get to wear a fancy dress and do it my way so we told me to get a fancy dress for our reception in August and said we could maybe redo it for people who weren’t invited or able to come, like his parents they were on vacation, and we didn’t know they were going to be gone when we booked the day and the day we picked was our anniversary so we wanted to keep it. My question is how would we really re do it? We are already married, the license has been signed, my name is changed. Do we find someone who will re marry us? The person who married us is from a different county then we live in, and we are doing the reception at our house. How does it work? I’ve seen it done on tv before but have no idea how it works.
