Ectopic Pregnancy

I had an Ectopic Pregnancy in December.

My husband and I weren’t trying, so it was a surprise that we were expecting to begin with. I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant and then 4 days later the ectopic incident happened. I lucked out. I caught it before the embryo burst, but they did have to perform emergency surgery, and they did have to remove my right fallopian tube. I experienced being pregnant/being a mom for 5 days and now I want to have that again. I will now only ovulate 6 times out of the year versus 12. They say once you’ve had an ectopic pregnancy your chances of having another increases. Doctors told me to wait to conceive again once I’ve had two normal periods. I guess I’m just wondering if any women out there have experienced a similar situation to mine? Was it hard to conceive again? Did you have another ectopic pregnancy? Was your Fallopian tube removed? I’m not worried but I am curious as to what could happen the next time we are expecting. I didn’t realize how common/uncommon ectopic pregnancies were. I didn’t even know this existed until it happened to me.
