Child hates taking medicine.. any advice?

Does anyone on here have a child that hates taking medicine and spits it out?? How do you make that situation better..? Also how do you stop them from spitting it out. He’s only 20 months old. Any advice would be GREAT❤️😭

I ve  done ( not sure if right or not lol)  I've hidden it in really really dark chocolate milk I even hid robitussen in half cup milk it was really dark chocolate milk but they drank it I tried it couldn't even taste the medicine but wooo it was almost like drinking syrup lol or sometimes the pharmacy can flavor different flavors
