Cramps - failed implantation?

Caroline

Hey guys, have been TCC for a fair while now and have still yet to have even a faint line pregnancy test. I’ve have noticed over time that some months I experience significant cramping around the time that I’d expect egg to be implanting. These normally last a few days and are generally from DPO 8-11. AF cramps follow on later (I have a pretty standard 28day cycle).

My question is, can you have cramping with a fertilised egg trying to implant, which then fails? Is there any chance this could be a sign of some kind of abnormal uterine response to egg trying to implant (ie - uterine spasm/cramps and implantation can’t occur).

I know it’s a weird one and I’ve tried to find info online about implantation problems but haven’t got very far - any help/advice appreciated!!!!

Ps- I’ve had all the usual checks of myself (ovaries/uterus/hormones etc...) and so has my hubby so technically we’re fertile but not conceiving
