Do happy, easy babies become nightmare toddlers!?

EVERY “experienced” mom keeps telling me my sweet-happy-never-cranky-sleeps-through-the-night-baby will most definitely become a little demon during her toddler years. Not because that’s what they’ve heard, it’s based on their experience with their own babies! So I want to know...did your easy baby turn into a nightmare?

I mom says I was an easy baby and easy child so I think it depends on the child and the parent. My son is 2 and has lots of energy and for the most part is easy. He obviously has his days when he gets a little cranky but who doesn’t. He’s always been pretty chill and go with the flow no changes yet. I think you can’t compare tho because when they are toddlers they are obviously more active and that’s normal you just need to know how to handle it and what works for you guys. I wouldn’t worry tho

My first was a very easy going baby until 3 hit. Then the tantrums hit! But we just stayed consistent and it didn’t last long. Every age has their difficulties it’s all on how you react to it and get through them. My girl is 6 now and she is a very well behaved child. She gets rewards at school weekly for being so good. I’m not that kind of mom who thinks my kids are the best, or perfect by any means either. Every kid has theirs days, just like we do. My second is a pretty easy baby also so I have a feeling I’m in for a bit of sass.

That was the case for us.  Our first was colicky and if I am being honest, pretty much cried his first 18 months.  He skipped the terrible 2s, 3s and 4s. 
The next two - awesome babies - insane toddlers.  We were not prepared for the insanity at all.

I'll be honest. once my daughters reflux was taken care of, she was the sweetest baby. never cranky. got 5 teeth at once and still was a sweetheart. 
then she hit 10 months old... and started her terrible twos! 
she's already broken through 2 molars!!!  
she throws temper tantrums, screams, then switches to be the cutest thing ever. 
she's seriously acting like she's 2 already and she's not even 1 untill March 12th.. 
her doctors actually think she needs to be evaluated, so her case might be different. 
but I do feel like her toddler years are gonna be TERRIFYING.

My son was a more difficult baby. Now that he’s almost one he’s been a lot easier. He’s not a toddler yet but so far he’s doing well. I think it’s different for every baby. My younger sister was a difficult baby, toddler, child, and now teenager. She’s never been easy at all. I was an easy baby, toddler, child but no teenager. We’re all different.

Lol apparently I was like this. My mom told me I was the easiest, sweetest baby. Then BAM, I turned one and it was like I was “possessed by the Devil”😂. It definitely depends on your child’s personality

I think that is just child character. My 3rdn son was a very easy baby. Never needed sleep training and hardly cried. I don't think he's ever been difficult. He's 5 now. I will say though he thinks he knows everything. You can't tell him he's black and white. He thinks he's just white. You can't tell him his step mom is not a fake mom lol she's not his real  mom so to him that equals to fake. His very firm in what he believes. That kid would be a great lawyer because he likes to argue.

Well my daughter is 14 months old right now and she was a very easy and quiet baby. She seems to be the same so far. We aren’t that far into toddlerhood, though. To me, my daughter’s personality is just quiet, sweet, and easy going. Today she did throw a tantrum at the grocery store. She wanted to push one of those mini carts but we didn’t have time for that lol. So yes she threw a bit of a fit for a few minutes and then she was wanting to hug me and very pleasant right after. All toddlers will have their moments. Especially if they are tired. It’s really just dependent on the child themselves, I think.
