good friend occationaly gets blood clots after sex.

A good friend of my bf and I had been in a term peeing blood. After he has sex he'll go to the bathroom to pee, and because he feels discomfort in his penis. he'll pee and it will come out slightly red, and usually pass a clot of blood and end with a normal stream of urine. He has told us that while it's not painful, he is able to feel an obvious form of pressure (mostlikey the clot) He is petrified of going to the doctor and searching Google scares the shit outta him. we are hoping that it may just be caused by stress becuse that is usually when it returns. I dunno if any of you guys have had this happen to you, but if you know anything please it would be a great help.
