3 days late

I’m 3 days late for my period. I went off birth control starting in January so I had a normal period in January and this would be my second period off the pill. Could it still be regulating? Or do I have a chance? I did have unprotected sex quite a few times this month I’m just unsure of the dates! I took a digital and it was negative so I don’t know if I should wait or get a first response!! Let me know what you guys think!! Idont want to get my hopes up..
