So grossed out right now!

I love my nieces dearly but apparently after their last visit they left some friends behind...LICE!!!

What's the absolute best and safest way to get rid of these nasty things on the first try??? I'm so grossed out and itchy just thinking about it!!

Are the lice shampoos safe? Effective? I'm desperate!
