menstrual cramps and pregnant?

so my husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for about 5 months and i was supposed to start my period on wednesday, still nothing and it’s NEVER LATE! I am cramping a bit so i wonder if it is normal to experience cramping while pregnant or if it’s my period?
