Induction

Have any mommies had an induction scheduled and then got out in stand by because the L&D; dept was full?

I was supposed to be induced this morning at 8am.. it is now almost 8pm and still no phone call.

I have been calling and following up and they tell me the same thing but that for me to be on stand by because they may call at any time during the night and tomorrow morning.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Anxious and frustrated. Now I’m sad and disappointed. Everyone is blowing me up asking if the baby is here. I want to cry !!
