Question for those TTC over 1 year

I've been TTC for 9 months now. I've hit a wall and become discouraged, where I don't even expect to get a BFP anymore. I actually don't even test, I just expect AF to come every month.

I'm trying to stay motivated by preparing myself for what the next step might be. For those of you who have gone back to your Dr after 1 year, what happens next? Tests for the SO? Tests for me? Clomid? IUI?

Thanks for the info. Staying informed feels like the last thing I can do to TTC at the point ( have done temping, CM, OPKs, preseed, prenatal vits, diet...)
