Sickness and period

So me and my boyfriend have been trying to have a baby (we just started for a month) I was feeling sick on a Sunday. I was feeling light headed , and nausea . Then the next day it was him starting to feel a little sick , he had a headache and he was dealing with dizziness. His headache didn’t go away after sleeping for so long and the next day he still had it. At that moment we both thought maybe we are expecting , but nooo my period came down Wednesday and it only last for 3 days . For some reason I feel like I am pregnant. Can this period be my last period ? Or am I just exaggerating hoping I’m pregnant when I’m not ?
