Best convertible car seat for infant

We are choosing convertible vs infant. There are so many to choose from! We don’t have a price range. Of course cheaper is better but we don’t mind.

We may be getting a car in the next year (we have a van and Jeep) so one that is too big so it’ll fit.

We also like the ones that recline so baby’s head isn’t flopping around. Our car right now that we use 99% of the time isn’t good for crashes. The sides don’t protect very well against a crash. So a car seat that has good crash testing is a must.

Also, on another note if anyone can help with this. Our daughter has a cheap convertible car seat (she’s 2) and it’s absolutely disgusting. We clean it weekly. I’ve washed and scrubbed the padding, washed the inside, swept it and everything yet it looks gross and she just got it last year. If anyone knows the best way to clean those, the best products, etc. that would help
