Second miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage back in December. I was 7 weeks along. I'm now pregnant again and wondering if I'm going to have a second. Right before I got my BFP, (probably 13 dpo) I had some brown tinted discharge, I thought my period was trying to start but then it just never came. I'm cramping on & off, and yesterday all day I had diarrhea spells (sorry...TMI). Can anyone give me any input? Don't be afraid to be honest if this has happened to you and ended in miscarriage, I would rather know.

Cramps can be very common in early pregnancy. I cramped with both my pregnancies. Brown discharge is usually "old" blood and could have been from implantation. If your any of this gets any worse, I would contact your doctor.

I had on and off cramping and diarrhea. With some random discharge, brown and one time it was pink, I was worried as well since I have been trying since my mc in sept. I called and went in for a scan and had a blight ovum. I've heard the discharge and some cramping can be normal but I was too worried to wait for my 8 week appt. if it really worries you, I would ask to come in earlier

The discharge right before your BFP could have been implantation bleeding. The timing sounds right for that.

How many weeks has it been since that happened? I'll be honest with you that my MC started with cramps, spotting, and diarrhea. Before that, my energy levels started returning and the nausea went away. However, every woman is different. I'd suggest a doc appointment or at least a lab appointment to check your progesterone and HCG levels right away.
