Top surgery for non binary?

I’ve always hated my breasts. Recently I’ve turned into a legal adult (not that it means surgery is automatically possible) and I’ve been wondering about getting top surgery without completely transitioning? Anyone have any advice? (Don’t know if this is TMI but I’ve made a deal with myself that I won’t make any set decision until I’m 20. I’m only 18 as of now.) sorry if any of this is rude. don’t mean for it to be. xx

I haven’t completely transitioned and had top surgery when I was 23. I was in therapy with a therapist who wrote a letter verifying my need for the surgery and the surgeon I used was fine doing it on pre-T people and those who had no intention on hormone therapy. I ended up trying T when I was 27, then quit it to have a baby and haven’t gone back on it.

Tell your doctor and they can refer you to the appropriate surgeon - and then you can discuss everything with them. You can have a consult with them, and come back for surgery whenever you are ready

If that’s how you feel, that’s how you feel. See the appropriate medical professionals about it and make your case, and see what they say. 
Just do you boo, don’t let anyone’s opinions sway you. You are completely justified to have top surgery if you want it.

I've had really bad chest dysphoria, and that made me think about wanted top surgery when I'm older. Thing is I'm not actually trans female to male but identify more with agender  so it one of those things where it like if it makes you happy and it's what you want you should go for it and talk to your doctor.

if you choose to do top surgery look into Dr. brown in Boston. he is phenomenal. I have been to many a trans conference about transitioning. I myself was not looking to transition but my ex wife was. Just know from experience (I have breast cancer) top surgeries are not easy and extremely painful. make sure this is truly who you are. have you been legally diagnosed with GID?
