When to test after a missed period

Question

My period was due on Sunday, but it never came. So, last night I took a pregnancy test but it was negative 😕. I have been fairly regular since I went off the pill 7 months ago - the first two months my cycle was a bit off but since then like clockwork my period comes every 29 days.

Anyway, my question is whether this has happend to anyone else. If I am not pregnant why would my period suddenly be so late?

I'm a day late and still coming out negative 😞 used a pregnancy test that's not very sensitive.Tomorrow I will test one more time with a First Response test and see. Hoping that there's still hope for both of us 💛

Me too, took a test at 4 days late, negative, then another at 7 days late, negative (both clear blue plus with the blue line). Today is day 9 and still no sign of my period so I have made a vow not to test again until the weekend if nothing happens! Frustrating!

Also try testing with fmu instead of in the evening.

Take a test again if you dont have a period in a few more days.

Ive had it happen many times. Its frustrating, but your probably not preggos.  I usually got my period a few days after i took the test. It was just 3 days late...or 6 once.
