Hair loss?

I'm 3 months postpartum, and I'm the shower I literally run my fingers through my hair and so much comes out! Is this the start of postpartum hair loss? Or can it be from my hair being up sometimes? What do I do?

Sorry it's awful. I'd take a hair skin and nails vitamin, but sometimes you can't do much to fix it. I had barely any hair for a while and I didn't realize it until I started having a ton of new baby hair grow in around the frame of my face. It does grow back quickly though

Its going to come out at some point. The estrogen from pregnancy makes your hair follicles become dormant, so the hair doesn’t fall out. Which is why we all have thick, luscious hair during pregnancy. I went through a terrible shed around 7/8 months postpartum. Hair everywhere. It gets better. What helped me was cutting it shorter. When it falls out in the shower, it doesn’t look like as much because it’s not as long.

YES!!!! SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I HAD TO ASK THE DOCTOR TO PERSCRIBE ME A DIFFERENT PRENATAL BECAUSE I DIDN'T FEEL THE OVER THE COUNTER ONES WERE GOOD. WELL HE DID AND MY HAIR LITERALLY STARTED GROWING BACK WITHIN A WEEK.
