TTC after ectopic

Hi ladies, I have a question for anyone who has been in this situation! On May 12th my husband and I got our very first surprise positive pregnancy test. I made my first appointment for May 29th. On May 24th I was experiencing horrific pains in my right side, we went to the ER and got the terrible news my first ever pregnancy was ectopic. This is tragic news and very surprising as I have zero risk factors for ectopic (just 1 of 100 they said). I was given my first metho shot on the 25th, and a second metho shot last Wednesday (after finding out the hospital didn't give me the right metho dose and my numbers continued to climb). I finally got the news my numbers have gone from 4200 to 830 in a matter of a week, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. My question is, when was everyone told they could TTC again after ectopic? Everything I have read has said wait three moments or 2 cycles. My husband is very adamant on trying again ASAP and when I asked the first doctor she said as soon as I hit the big fat 0 I can try again (she said the metho would be out of my system in a week). I am seeing a different doctor now and I was going to ask him next week. Just wanted to see what others think and were told as I am being told something way different from the doctor than what I am reading online. Thanks!
