I was diagnosed with preeclampsia last week, at 33 weeks. I also have kidney disease. At my ultrasound today my blood pressure was high and they took me straight to labor and delivery for monitoring and told me that I will need to stay in the hospital until I deliver the baby. The doctor said they will induce labor at 34 weeks which will be this Thursday. She said the baby looks great, and considering I had the steroid shots last week they're not too concerned about her not doing well. I feel so unprepared for this!
