What to bring to the beach (9 month old)

We are going on vacation to see family down south. We will be visiting the beach while there. I am trying to make a list of everything I will need for our 9 month old while at the beach. So far I have: swim diaper/bathing suit, baby sunscreen, sunhat, towel. Those are the essentials. Then I was thinking of household items to be used for toys like Tupperware and measuring cups (to pour sand and water) since I don't want to buy and lug actual beach toys on the plane. She's only 9 months so we won't actually be going on the water (besides maybe the toes) so I wasn't planning on a life vest or anything of that nature.

Can you think of other things that might be a good idea to bring with?
