I'm about 17weeks FTM and we found out last week we are having a boy. Boyfriend was out of town working so he didn't get to experience the 3D ultrasound and seeing we are having a boy. So I waited till he got home to tell him the sex and show the ultrasound photos. He just replied that's cool. No posts on social media . No emotion or pure excitement like I felt. He said he is very excited it's just not hitting him yet.  I've explained how the baby will be here sooner than later. And it's approaching quick so I'd like some emotional and mental support by being included in baby things and being involved. He just blames if on all guys just don't get it or understand till the baby is actually here. I have male friends with children. I've seen excitement and full involvement in every step of the way. I feel like if he just "gets it" when the baby is here that's setting himself up for a rude awakening when he hasn't prepared himself for a baby and he hasn't mentally got ready for it. Am I being unreasonable?! I feel alone like I'm going through my pregnancy without support from the one person that really matters so me. Help!!?!
