Should you have your S/O or spouses password for their phone?

My husband and I had one another’s password to each others phone. I went through his phone because we were in a tough spot, I found things I wasn’t happy with. We almost even divorced. Of course he changed his passcode. Recently I tried to set him up in my phone to unlock it. He said he didn’t want it and didn’t want to give me his passcode. It has me pretty pissed off. First off what are you hiding? To me, things should be open and honest with one another. He is not that with me. We’re in marriage counseling because I was so ready to leave. And no, he did not cheat on me. He was watching a bunch of porn. The only reason I have a problem with that, is he’d rather watch porn than sleep with me.
