Does anyone’s husband own a company?

Curious if your husband is the owner of a company does he charge your parents which are your children’s grandparents money to do check ups or work?
Just curious because mine charges my parents. But won’t charge his baby mama?

Ok well your parents shouldn't t mind paying because it's putting food o. the table for thier grandchildren. I also understand not charging his baby mama because she is providing for his and her child. Just my opinion.

My SO doesnt own a company, but the dentist I work for owns the practice himself and doesn't charge any of his family or his SOs family. If they have insurance, he bills insurance but then takes care of the copays and whatever is left over himself.

My husband owns a construction company and he charges immediate family for the materials costs but doesn’t charge them for his labor. They get the discounted materials rate when he uses his company’s credit card so it’s a good deal for them. When family members start to take advantage of that, he says no to the work because he is ‘very busy.’

I mean, he didn’t get successful over night? He’s not fucking them. He’s not entitled to hook them up, I mean a nice discount maybe. 
But obviously if he’s working... why work for free?
My man is an entrepreneur. If he did free work all the time he would be broke!  
Obviously a business owner - I’m sure he’s been taken for granted. And family is usually the first to do so, not saying yours did but maybe his side?

We own restaurants & we don’t charge our parents & my sister.  They watch our children on date nights/conventions, so it’s the least we can do!!

I think it really depends on the scale of the work. If it’s not a big deal then I wouldn’t charge anything. If it’s a lot of work then a discounted rate would be appropriate. If you’re going to charge family full price then you might as well use anyone else lol

If he aint charging the BM then he shouldn't be charging your parents...BM gets a pass because of the child and your parents should get a pass because of you and your kids...

My foance is a contractor and he owns his own company. And he’s done A LOT of work for my parents. They’re no different than any other customer, so they get an estimate before the job and a bill afterwards. Sometimes I slack on sending it to them after the job is done and they hound me everyday that they want to get us paid. So, I don’t see a problem with charging your parents for work. Time is money in a business.

We own a bbq company and only have immediate family pay cost of product.  My husband is a union carpenter by trade and does not charge his parents or brothers to do work for them.
