Can Bacterial Vaganosis.....

Can Bacterial Vaganosis prevent pregnancy? I went in to the OB/GYN office and had my first pap smear. Everything came back normal except I tested positive for Bacterial Vaganosis. I am 23 and never went to an OB/GYN so I was scared. Me and hubby have been TTC for 4 years. I suspect I've had BV for approximately 5-6 years. could it have done damage?
