Same side, almost always. We share a lot, so it’s easier that way. Plus I can’t give him a kiss from all the way across the table! And if a server thinks it’s annoying, they’re probably miserable and looking for something to piss them off. That’s so stupid. Who cares?? It doesn’t affect the way they do their jobs... It depends on the configuration of the table and the room. I always thought it was weird for couples to sit on the same side. I like sitting at the two sides next to each other like at twelve o’clock and 3 o’clock if that makes sense
