Should I make him go?

My SO is home this week (he's a commercial truck driver and gone for 4-6 weeks at a time). He was supposed to go back on the road today but yesterday morning ended up getting emergency wisdom teeth removal. He's doing well, not too much pain actually, just tired, but he'll be home the rest of the week for follow up and everything. Today I also happen to have an OB appointment, and because of this unexpected lengthening of his time home, this will be the last time he'll be home before baby is born. Today I'll be asking my OB about early induction and I really want him to come. He's taking a nap on the couch but he woke up at one point, I went over and asked him if he wanted some water or needed anything, and said I'd wake him at 3:30 so he could get ready. And he said "I don't know if I'll be able to go..." and I was like, are you in pain do you need more Vicodin? And he said no that the was just tired. He slept most of the day yesterday, slept well last night (I'm a light sleeper so when he wakes up I wake up), and like I said is now taking a nap... I don't want to be totally unreasonable but I'm a little frustrated that I took off work and have been taking care of him, letting him rest and getting him everything he needs, and he's now saying he doesn't know if he'll be able to go with me to an OB appointment that takes 20 minutes? I don't want to be hard on him, I know wisdom teeth removal isn't fun, I had it done last January, but he's acting like he's suddenly an invalid! Am I being too demanding? Honestly, please tell me if I am. The real question is though, should I make him go with me or should I let him stay home knowing I have important questions to ask and want him there? Sorry this got long and rant-y. I'm just a little perturbed.
