Loved it so much for our son (he still loves it, at 2.5 years old), that we bought another one for Autumn.  It also displays the temp in the room.  It can play MP3 music too, I think.  There's a cord for that.

I just buy a mobile music box and then you can put whatever mobile you want on it. I got the black and white developmental one and she loves to pull the cards off and chew on them. They are large enough they don't pose a hazard and I always am watching through the monitor anyways. I don't know how long it plays exactly but I would say for about a half hour.

Babies this age are pretty much done with spinning mobiles by now.

Ive never used a mobile... we have the baby Einstein fish aquarium that clips on the side.
