Does your husband work third shift?

My husband started working third shift about two months ago and I just can not get use to it! I miss him being home every night to eat dinner with us and just being there at night time with us. Weekends are just not enough time! But I'm also very grateful for such a hard working man that takes care of our family! I just miss my hubby 😩 anyone in the same boat?

My man leaves for work at 5pm. Doesn't get home till about 5am sometimes later sometimes earlier. (He is a supervisor so it varys when he gets off) he sleeps till about 3 pm everyday and i feel i only see him for an hour or rwo a day. He works six days a week and us off on sundays. When he first got on this shift i began to feel alone. Like our family had been torn apart since there is no time for family. I. Couldn't sleep my bed felt empty without him. I struggled to maintain the supportive side in his decisions.. I became angry at him and his work because i felt my daughter and i were abandoned..my thoughts and lonleyness were getting the best of me. But then i got some very good advice that made me thankful to even have him for a couple hours a day and on Sundays. The lady said:"i know you feel alone and vulnerable and that you are raising a child alone sometimes but consider the wives of army men who wait months to see their husbands. Not only do they wait, they fear for the lives of their loved ones. They don't really know if they will ever return. However they carry their family and burry their worry for the sake of their familys. And even tho their men are fighting for freedom for a country your man is fighting for financial stability for your family. So support him and encourage him for hes doing what he thinks is best." boy was that the best damn advice ive ever gotten. And now i enjoy our time a lil more. ;)

Yep! My husband works 9-6:30. I HATE it! I don't sleep well alone and he's asleep when I get home (teacher hours).

Weekends are weird because his sleep schedule is so off. He tries to sleep next to me at night but wakes up around 2:00am for good.

He doesn't seem to mind this shift but I miss him terribly. I agree that I do appreciate him working hard so that we can build our savings for our future family. ❤️

Mine works 11pm til 7am, 23 miles away, Saturday through Wednesday... I am right there with ya! He just left.

My fiance used to work from 7pm to 7am in the morning and it sucked! He worked there for about a year then quit because he hated it so much!

My bf does. I have him at night he goes in at 11 but he does sleep all the time like ALL THE TIME. And if I wake him for some QT he has an attitude

I understand how you fell! Me and my husband work different shift I work first and he works second so we literally never see each other till the weekends! I find keeping my self business with Hobbies and friend really helps
