When to give baby gripe water

Question

My little one she is three weeks old and poop every four days, her poop is usually liquid yellow or green sometimes but poor baby is always kicking and turning red. I am guessing she might have gas or stomach ache. Is it to soon to start her on gripe water, Mother’s with experience please let me know TIA!!!!

You can definitely try it but doesn’t always work didn’t for my son there’s exercises though and other options too if that doesn’t work I use essential oil for my son on his feet or stomach and works every time like charm

I tried gripe water and it unfortunately didn’t do much for us. But I used gas drops like crazy and they helped her!

We gave it to baby at a few weeks old as well. It helped. Gas drops (simethicone) was also helpful

Gripe water made my son’s tummy upset. We preferred gas drops and a daily probiotic.

I haven’t tried it and it sounds strange. But a friend used a Windi to help her LO with gas. Might be worth it if your LO is in pain.

If she is just stretching and grunting that's normal. Shes trying to learn how to poop. I wouldn't give a baby anything until they start crying and it's every time they need to poop
