HELP!! Please! What do I do

I walked up to a guy Saturday evening and said how much I loved his moustache he said thanks. And then after the party I went to look for my friend at a bar. Funny thing is right when I walked to the entrance of this bar the guy was there as well. We said hi. But he was accompanied my a girl. I assumed that was his gf since he was with her that night. I find out that she's married. So now I follow her on Instagram. Would it be too much if I ask her for his number??? Or should I wait a couple more days ?
