Light pregnancy test?

So I'm kind of paranoid and took a pregnancy test today. It was lighter than it has been...I'm 7w3d. Does it start to get lighter once your hcg is too high?

Thanks ladies. I did my own experiment this morning with 2 tests, first one was dipped directly into FMU and the second test was into an extremely diluted version.

Idk at what point but your hcg levels get too high to be detectable on an hpt and then they peak
