im too nervous

so, im at least 10 days late, i keep sayiing maybe i recorded my last period dates wrong cause idk i havent been late in years, and my bf keeps pushing for me to take a pregnancy test, but im scared. weve been trying for 3 years and nothing, but this is the first time ivw been this late, but i have no symptoms, i just dont want to see it come up as negative. maybe i should just wait till i feel symptoms? idk what to do.
