Why is Glow saying my fertile period is over?!

I haven't ovulated yet as I am taking my temp and I know for sure as have been charting for years and I get awful cramps on ovulation day as well as knowing my cm signs etx. I have a short luteal phase but as the app only asked for period length it predicted ovulation would be day 13. Why does it not continue to show fertile phase until ovulation has been confirmed through temperature rise? This could seriously get a lot of people in trouble if they don't want to get pregnant and happen to ovulate later than the average. feeling really disappointed in this all now.
