Period after Mirena removed

I got my Mirena removed on Jan 22 and had what I thought was a period Jan 24-29. I haven’t gotten my period yet this month and the pregnancy test came back negative. I’ve read that it takes some women a few months for their period to get back to normal and that they thought their period started two days after removal. We are TTC #2 and my midwife said I should right back to how my periods were prior to the iud. I have no symptoms of an oncoming period. Howling did take you guys to get back to regular periods? And how long after that to get pregnant?
