My first round of Clomid was unsuccessful. Like, absolutely zero progesterone in my body.

I started Metformin just a few days before starting 10 days of progesterone to start my period. I knew it was helping because I started my period 12 hours after my day 10 progesterone pill (normally took 5-6 days to start). At CD 11 we BD (it was Valentines Day 😜) and the next morning I wiped and found a ton of EWCM!! We BD again that night. I did a Day 21 progesterone blood test this last Saturday. To my surprise, my doctor called me today (the results usually take four to five days) and told me I had ovulated!!! 🙌🏻

Above and beyond the Metformin helping me ovulate, I have felt soooo much better!! So much energy! I’m able to wake up in the mornings and I don’t crave sugar near what I used to!!

Only complaint: it’s suuuuper tough on your tummy. Mine was upset for about a week. And no alcohol!! But it’s worth it.
