please help

a day before we found out we are expecting we had sex. it felt like he was "hitting" my ovaries and cervix. it was painful. idk how to really explain it. I won't see my doctor for 2 more weeks. at a little over 7 weeks. should we hold off from sex? what could it be? has this happened to anyone else? please any input
