Financial Advice!!

So today I found out that my husband was 4 months behind on his car payment,I knew he was behind but I thought it was only a month.

I knew when we had to pay his dads $400 water bill (busted pipe) that he'd put off paying the one month.

Turns out my FIL had a $300+ power bill the next month and they were threatening to cut off his power so my husband paid it and took another hit on his car.

Then two months later when my husbands cousin died we drove 12 hours out to Cincinnati for the funeral, and stayed the weekend out there with his family. I thought we had the money for the trip without taking any cuts but turns out we didn't.

And the last month was this months payment.

(he's showed the receipts and bank statements)

He kept it from me because he didn't want me to worry and start stressing(I have panic attacks, and night terrors when I get too stressed). He said he thought he could get it under control by working over time, but every time hes tried his supervisors tell him theyve got it covered.

We paid a large chunk of his over due payments with what tax money we had left. But he's still 2 months behind and it will cost us $700 to get him caught back up.

I have no fucking idea how we'll get it caught up because between the two us we bring home $2,252 a month, but all our expensives average out to be $2,072 before groceries.

Neither of us are able to take out a loan, my husband has ruined his credit with the over due payments, and I don't make enough to be approved for one.

I've tried applying for a better job, and last year I went on 10 interviews but was passed over every time.

We can't ask for help because to be honest neither of our families are in the position to help, and even if they were they would lord it over us even after we paid them back.... And we wont ever see the money we paid towards my FIL bills because he's old and mentally disabled.

I have no idea what to do. We can't afford for my husband to lose his car because we work in opposite directions (he works 40 minutes west from our apartment and I work 35 minutes east).

We also need two cars for incase of emergencies, and if something happens to our son while he's at school and one of us needs to go get him.

There's also literally nothing we can cut back on, everything we have is a necessity.

I'm sorry this is so long, and I've probably posted it to the wrong page but I need advice and suggestions on how to get this under control.

ALL ADVICE IS WELCOME!!
